IT Field Service Technician

Location: Columbus, OH 43064

Pay Rate: $20.00/HR W2, plus travel expenses (Increase to $22.00/HR upon permanent hire)

Hours: M-F, 9am-6pm, On-call rotation 

Duration: Contract-to-Hire 

Description:

The Field Tech will travel around to Compucom client sites in their assigned area of the Indianapolis service area – looking for techs to cover southern Columbus and northwest Columbus

• Hardware Break Fix work
• Must maintain good customer focus meeting deadlines and service level agreements (SLA’s)
• Technician will travel to each location on route
• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs Desktop, Laptop, Server and Printer
• Works under general supervision

Qualifications:

• Must live within 20 miles of either 43123 or 43040 zip codes
• A+ Certification
• Experience supporting Desktops, Laptops, Printers, POS machine
• 3 years plus with customer service experience
• Reliable Transportation (This is a driving position – reimbursed accordingly)
• Personable as they will be interacting with a wide range of users and environments
• Can lift up to 50lbs
