Position Overview
We are seeking a Technical Support Coordinator who will serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries while also providing basic technical troubleshooting support. This role combines administrative responsibilities with hands-on mechanical knowledge, making it ideal for someone who is comfortable both on the phone and with equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a mechanical background and the ability to assist customers in diagnosing and resolving equipment issues over the phone.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and manage incoming customer calls in a professional and timely manner
- Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting assistance for equipment issues
- Guide customers through basic diagnostics and potential fixes over the phone
- Accurately document customer issues, service requests, and resolutions
- Coordinate with service technicians or escalate issues when needed
- Maintain strong customer relationships by delivering excellent service and clear communication
- Assist with general administrative duties as needed
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude or background (experience working with machinery, equipment, or tools)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Experience in customer service, administrative support, or call handling
- Problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly under pressure
- Basic computer skills and ability to document information accurately
