Job Description

Desktop Support Technician

Pay Rate:  $22.00/HR W2 (Increase to $25.00/hour upon hire)

Hours:  Full time, M-F, 8am-5pm 

Location:  Charleroi, PA 15022

Duration: Contract-to-Hire

 

Description: 

  • Primary duties will include standard desktop/Laptop break/fix items 
  • Receive user calls and offer remote or on-site support. 
  • Troubleshoot system, office, hardware, and business applications 
  • Management and installation of equipment in the meeting room (projector, laptop, and video conference) 
  • Monitor calls, incidents and requests using client provided Service Now tool. 
  • Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed. 
  • Network connection issues, track network connections back to network switches.
  • Escalates problems and issues to a higher level of support if unable to resolve. 
  • Excellent written, organizational, analytical, and verbal skills
  • Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems. 
  • Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security, and systems groups. 
  • Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed. 

 

Skills:

  • 3+ Years of experience doing IT support
  • Great Customer Service
  • Desktop Support (Win10, Active Directory and Office 365)
  • Professional with great customer service
  • Must be able stay focused, working independently 
  • Time management
  • A+ Certification is nice to have
