Desktop Support Technician
Pay Rate: $22.00/HR W2 (Increase to $25.00/hour upon hire)
Hours: Full time, M-F, 8am-5pm
Location: Charleroi, PA 15022
Duration: Contract-to-Hire
Description:
- Primary duties will include standard desktop/Laptop break/fix items
- Receive user calls and offer remote or on-site support.
- Troubleshoot system, office, hardware, and business applications
- Management and installation of equipment in the meeting room (projector, laptop, and video conference)
- Monitor calls, incidents and requests using client provided Service Now tool.
- Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
- Network connection issues, track network connections back to network switches.
- Escalates problems and issues to a higher level of support if unable to resolve.
- Excellent written, organizational, analytical, and verbal skills
- Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems.
- Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security, and systems groups.
- Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
Skills:
- 3+ Years of experience doing IT support
- Great Customer Service
- Desktop Support (Win10, Active Directory and Office 365)
- Professional with great customer service
- Must be able stay focused, working independently
- Time management
- A+ Certification is nice to have
