Location: Pittsburgh, PA (100% Onsite – Downtown, Pittsburgh, PA
Duration: 3-month contract with potential for full-time hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (EST)
Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizens only
We are seeking an Associate General Clerk to provide essential clerical and administrative support to functional teams. This is a fully onsite role in downtown Pittsburgh and a great opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door with a well-known organization, with the potential to convert to a full-time position.
Perform general clerical duties including copying, filing, scanning, indexing, and document imaging
Prepare, distribute, and retrieve mail and internal documents
Enter data accurately and maintain records
Perform basic calculations, posting, and verification of information
Research and resolve discrepancies or questions as needed
Communicate professionally with internal teams and external contacts
Handle sensitive information and HIPAA-related requests with discretion
Meet established quality and productivity standards
High school diploma or GED
Prior clerical or administrative work experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Experience with research-related tasks
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Prior experience working in regulated environments (HIPAA exposure a plus)
100% onsite – candidates must be local to the Pittsburgh area
Contract role with the potential for full-time conversion based on performance and business needs
