Desktop Support Technician
Location: Melville, NY 11747 / New York, NY 10018 (will support both sites)
Pay Rate: $26.00/HR W2
Hours: Full time, M-F, 8am-5pm
Duration: Contract-to-Hire
Description:
- Duties will include standard desktop/Laptop break/fix items
- Receive user calls and offer remote or on-site support.
- Troubleshoot system, office, hardware, and business applications
- Management and installation of equipment in the meeting room (projector, laptop, and videoconference)
- Monitor calls, incidents and requests using client provided Service Now tool
- Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security, and systems groups.
- Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.

- Deskside Support Experience
- Great Customer Service
- Troubleshooting skills with hardware and software
- AV support.
- Depot repair diagnostic skillset
- Imaging
- Network and connectivity
- IMAC (Install Move Add Change) and Computer imaging.
- AD Provisioning
- Desktop Support (WIN10 / O365 Outlook Support)
- Certifications preferred, at least 1 of 5: Comptia A+ , Network + , Server+ or Security+ or Mac
