Position: Jr. HR Systems Analyst
Location: Cleveland OH (HYBRID)
Duration: 3-month W2 contract
Description:
We are seeking an HR Systems Analyst to join our client’s HR team in preparation for a new implementation. This contract role will focus on supporting core HR systems, ensuring data accuracy, process documentation, and system testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for the HRIS applications, including researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
- Serves as the technical point of contact ensuring data integrity, system security and maintenance, system modifications, report writing, document maintenance, system audits and recommendations for process changes for HR team members and management.
- Provides Tier 1 helpdesk support for HCM issues. Escalates issues to Oracle and/or consulting partners as appropriate.
- Develops documentation/training materials and delivers training to end users.
- Writes detailed descriptions of users’ needs, program functions and modification processes; develops and maintains HRIS operational documentation.
- Works cross functionally with HR team members and management to integrate data and ensure seamless data flow and identify trends to aid in management decisions.
- Analyzes data, information, and systems problems by applying analytical skills to effectively communicate findings and design solutions using Excel or other HR systems.
- Prepares data for all required annual compliance reports, for example EEO-1, VETS-100 and ACA related reports.
- Administers HRIS security; manages user roles and security parameters, maintains security documentation; performs routine audits/testing of security access to ensure appropriate data security.
- Acts as a liaison between users, IT department and third parties; collaborates with all to effectively prioritize and schedule projects and assignments to meet departmental objectives.
- Provides support for the creation and maintenance of internal and external interfaces.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of SaaS systems and system administration for HRIS system
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills required to work in a consultative role with users.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to think strategically and continually review and improve processes.
- Excellent ability to apply logical reasoning to data analysis and think through details.
- Ability to be self-directed and to handle large, concurrent projects with minimal supervision while adhering to strict guidelines.
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with sensitive employee data
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally

- Understanding of HR data structures and compliance requirements
