Job Description

Desktop Support Technician

Pay Rate: $20.00/HR W2

Hours:  Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Location:  1 Global View, Troy, NY 12180

Duration: Open-ended contract, potential Contract-to-Hire    

Description:

  • Provide excellent customer service in a customer facing desktop support role.
  • Desk side technicians will manage assigned tickets and handle customer raised issues, with team support when necessary.
  • Typical calls for service include:  provisioning new devices, re-imaging existing devices, access and domain settings, O365 [onedrive and mapped drive] issues, e-mail or other software issues and assisting users with damaged or broken devices, display issues with monitors and docking stations, and printers.

 

Skills:

  • Healthy technical understanding of Windows PC required.
  • Experience regarding Mac and iOS is helpful and recommended. 
  • Experience with ticket management systems like ServiceNow are helpful.
