Desktop Support Technician
Pay Rate: $27.00/HR W2 (Increase to $31/hour upon permanent hire)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Location: Cambridge, MA 02139
Duration: Contract-to-Hire
Description:
- Level II Desktop Support
- Primary duties will include software break/fix, imaging, and Office 365 troubleshooting
- Receive user calls and offer remote or on-site support
- Troubleshoot system, office, hardware, and business applications
- Management and installation of equipment in the meeting room (projector, laptop, and videoconference)
- Monitor calls, incidents and requests using client provided Service Now tool
- Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security, and systems groups
- Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed
Skills:
- 3+ years of professional IT experience in a corporate environment
- Desktop Support (Windows 11 and Office 365)
- Excellent Client Skills
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Multi-Tasking Skills
- Strong Technical ability
- A+ certification is nice to have
