Desktop Support Technician

Pay Rate: $27.00/HR W2 (Increase to $31/hour upon permanent hire)

Hours:  Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Location: Cambridge, MA 02139

Duration: Contract-to-Hire    

Description:

  • Level II Desktop Support
  • Primary duties will include software break/fix, imaging, and Office 365 troubleshooting
  • Receive user calls and offer remote or on-site support
  • Troubleshoot system, office, hardware, and business applications 
  • Management and installation of equipment in the meeting room (projector, laptop, and videoconference) 
  • Monitor calls, incidents and requests using client provided Service Now tool 
  • Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security, and systems groups
  • Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed

Skills:

  • 3+ years of professional IT experience in a corporate environment
  • Desktop Support (Windows 11 and Office 365)
  • Excellent Client Skills 
  • Excellent Communication Skills 
  • Multi-Tasking Skills
  • Strong Technical ability 
  • A+ certification is nice to have
