Job Title: Technician/Maintenance Engineer Location: New Kensington, PA 15068 Schedule: 1st shift

Maintenance Engineer is responsible for Planning, Scheduling and Executing different maintenance and process activities. Also, to perform troubleshooting activities within a factory. This means the way in which physical assets perform together with the method of setting and adjusting the processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Repairing and or troubleshooting worn, malfunctioning or damaged production floor equipment.
  • Install and maintain electrical utilities for production equipment
  • Document all repairs into the established data base.
  • Perform preventative maintenance following the established procedures and document when completed into the Equipment Maintenance data base.
  • Assisting other technicians with projects and other day-to-day activities in the Equipment Engineering Department.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule to support manufacturing needs and preventive maintenance completion and work additional hours overtime as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree or vocational certificate in a technical field preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years experience in industrial maintenance or degree/certification in a technical field
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and computer skills
  • Ability to understand/read schematics and CAD drawings
  • General understanding of electrical or mechanical concepts
  • Strong ability to collaborate with other team members
  • Ability to communication with upper leadership and strong desire to take ownership
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and complete multiple assignments on time is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate:
