Job Title: Desktop Support Technician
Location: On-site – Pittsburgh, PA 15275
Schedule: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Monday–Friday)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to join our on-site IT team. This hybrid role consists of approximately 30% desktop support and 70% service desk responsibilities. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on support for desktops/laptops, assist with PC imaging, and handle incoming service desk requests via phone and ticketing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic desktop and laptop troubleshooting and support.

  • Image and deploy PCs for end users.

  • Offer occasional in-person desktop support as needed.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for users via phone and ticketing system.

  • Triage and assign tickets, escalating issues as necessary.

  • Document all support activities thoroughly and accurately.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a desktop support or IT service desk role.

  • Proficient in Windows OS and basic hardware troubleshooting.

  • Familiarity with imaging tools and remote desktop support.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Work Environment:

  • 100% on-site at our Pittsburgh, PA office.

  • Standard schedule from 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
