Job Title: Desktop Support Technician
Location: On-site – Pittsburgh, PA 15275
Schedule: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to join our on-site IT team. This hybrid role consists of approximately 30% desktop support and 70% service desk responsibilities. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on support for desktops/laptops, assist with PC imaging, and handle incoming service desk requests via phone and ticketing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide basic desktop and laptop troubleshooting and support.
Image and deploy PCs for end users.
Offer occasional in-person desktop support as needed.
Serve as the first point of contact for users via phone and ticketing system.
Triage and assign tickets, escalating issues as necessary.
Document all support activities thoroughly and accurately.
Requirements:
Prior experience in a desktop support or IT service desk role.
Proficient in Windows OS and basic hardware troubleshooting.
Familiarity with imaging tools and remote desktop support.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Work Environment:
100% on-site at our Pittsburgh, PA office.
Standard schedule from 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
