Cabling Technician – Lead

Pay Rate: $45.00/HR W2

Hours:  M-F, 9am-5pm  

Location:  Havelock, NC 28532  

Duration: 15 months

Position Summary:

Experienced tech to create cable pathways, experienced with concrete coring tools, conduit sleeves, EMT conduit installation, installing and terminating CAT6A cable (Cat6A Shielded) Experienced working commercial installations, Experienced working at high heights in scissor/boom lifts. Verifiable experience leading installation crews. Must have commercial installation experience. Must be able to identify obstacles and formulate alternative solutions. Works closely with job foreman. Responsible for managing a crew and maximizing productivity. Good communication skills and capable of interacting with personnel within assigned work areas. Must ensure crews are following all safety protocols.

Job Requirements:

• 5 years minimum experience installing cable.
• Must be able to clear a government security clearance
• Certifications are a plus
