Desktop Support Technician 

Pay Rate: $30.00/HR W2

Hours: M/W/F, 8am-5pm (Part-time, Contract-to-hire)

Location: New York, NY 10014

Description: 

  • Break/Fix Deskside Software Support IMAC, and Smart Hands Services to a group of Executives. 
  • Deskside support role doing hardware repair, troubleshooting of hardware and software images, IMAC tasks, no on-call.
  • Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals. 
  • Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems. 
  • Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security, and systems groups. 
  • Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed. 
  • Network connection issues, track network connections back to network switches. 
  • Escalates problems and issues to a higher level of support if unable to resolve.
  • Support end users with the best solutions.
  • Respond and update trouble tickets in ServiceNow.    

Skills:

  • 5-7 years of Technical Support experience required
  • Service Now experience required 
  • C-Suite support experience required 
  • A/V support is required
  • Apple/MAC and Windows experience with troubleshooting required 
  • Professional with great customer service
  • Must be able stay focused, working independently 
  • Time management
  • A+ Certification is nice to have
