Position: JAVA Developer (no C2C)

Location:  Cleveland, OH (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Duration: 6-months contract to hire

Description:

Our client supports the applications and product database for 4000+ locations. They have a huge responsibility to design, develop, and maintain an internal application; product databases; store-level replenishment. The team supports the interfacing systems within the company. The right candidate will work in a team environment supporting each other. If the candidate is willing to learn and be a good team player they will be successful in this role.

As the Java Web Developer, you will be responsible for the development, integration, and implementation of application software supporting mission-critical business applications within their merchandise accounting systems group.

The position requires participation in the complete system development life cycle including post-implementation support.

Required Experience:

• 2+ years of overall IT experience.
• 1+ years of experience working on all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• 1+ years of building Single page web applications using ReactJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, Java, Spring, Hibernate, and HTML.
• 1+ years’ experience in an Enterprise Database Management System, preferably Oracle.
• 1+ years’ experience working with REST APIs
• 1+ years’ experience working with Source Control environments such as GIT.
• Experience creating automated build using Gradle.
• Experience with application servers such as JBoss and Tomcat.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Unix/Linux OS and shell scripting
• Experience in containerizing applications using Docker and managing with Kubernetes
