Position: Site Project Construction Engineer
Location: Prince George, BC
Duration: 18 months
Pay Rate: $85.00 - $110.00 per hour (IC)

Role Description:
Reporting jointly to the Construction Manager and Project Management Teams, the Site Project Engineer is responsible for managing all technical information provided to and received from the Implementation Contractor, EPCM Contractor, Company, and Operator teams. They act as a liaison between on-site teams, design engineers, vendor representatives, and other technical stakeholders to resolve technical issues.

Minimum Qualifications

• A recognized degree in an engineering or scientific discipline, with the equivalent of five (5) years of field experience in a similar role/capacity. P.Eng. or EIT with EGBC designation preferred.
• Education in construction management and relevant work experience leading to a solid understanding of required technical knowledge, including experience supervising, working with, and administering contractors.
• Knowledge of project-specific compliance requirements, as well as general awareness of environmental legislation, governmental laws, and applicable regulatory compliance standards.
