Job Description
Role: Equipment Project Manager
Duration: September 30th, 2026 - July 30th, 2027
Location: Saskatoon, SK
Hours: Monday - Thursday 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of multiple Capital equipment projects are in various stages, ranging from concept/framing through to implementation in line with the life of mine equipment cycles.
- Strong and dynamic individual to ensure all aspects of project planning and execution meets the established requirements with respect to budget, schedule, scope, quality, health, safety, and environment.
- It is essential that this individual has the self-motivation to work efficiency, productivity and in compliance with Cameco and industry standards.
- You will manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, identify and secure resources, report on project status to management, facilitate solutions, manage project risk, and promote a culture consistent with Cameco values.
- Frequent travel to corporate office Saskatoon and Northern Saskatchewan sites will be required during active project planning and execution.
Skills/Experience
- Experience managing mining or other industrial projects through various stages, ranging from concept/framing through to implementation in line with the life of mine equipment cycles.
- Ten plus years of combined work experience with mobile equipment/project management roles within a mining, or industrial setting A combination of education and relevant experience with equipment, equipment rebuilds and/or equipment manufacturing projects is considered an asset.
- Experience in an underground mining environment is required.
- Both technical(engineer/technologist) and trades backgrounds will be considered Proficient in MS Office Suite including MS project SAP experience an asset PMP designation an asset
