Role: Engineer, I&C (TS)
Duration: 06/15/2026 - 12/31/2026
Location: Saskatoon, SK, 40 hours per week
Role Description / Key Responsibilities:
- Intermediate (4-9yrs) Senior (10+yrs)
- Serve as or support the instrumentation discipline design lead on multi-discipline project teams
- Must be able to perform instrument & valve sizing and selection for heavy industrial plants
- Familiarity with industrial networking protocols and ICS security
- Prepare engineering drawings and documents such as:
- Instrument index
- Control philosophy
- P&IDs
- Instrument data sheets
- Instrument location plans
- Loop drawings
- Cable schedules
- PLC and other panel drawings as required
- Prepare and evaluate bid documents for materials and contracts
- Perform vendor shop drawing review
- Assist with preparing material costs and timing estimates
- Occasional travel to project sites in Northern Saskatchewan and Ontario may be required
- Signing and/or sealing of technical documents, including:
- Drawings
- Technical specifications
- Data sheets
- Engineering lists (such as equipment list, pipeline list, tie-in point list, valve lists, etc.)
- Calculations
Skills / Previous Experience:
Site experience and heavy industrial exposure particularly with field instrument selection
Training /Qualification Activities:
• To be assigned and completed in ISN prior to attending to a Cameco safety-sensitive site (Northern SK sites)
o Location Specific Site Orientation
o Surface – Pre Access OR Underground Pre Access (this includes completion of a substance test)
Education:
-Bachelors Degree in relevant engineering field
