Rate: Bill Rate $100/hr W2 + Benefits

Working Model: Fully remote, limited travel

Travel: Potential Vendor or Customer site, GEV office - Customer will be Canada, candidates should be able to travel to Canada and US

Working Hours: No preference on time  zone, 9am - 3pm EST CORE working hours

Interview Process: Virtual, with cameras on, 1 round

Equipment will need to be ordered for the selected candidate.

Job Description 

Position Summary: The System Engineer designs and manages complex Instrumenation and Control systems for the BWRX Small Modular Reactor to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Develop sub-system requirements from higher level plant requirements.
• Implement system designs based on project requirements.
• Monitor system design progress and address technical issues.
• Document system activities and prepare detailed reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system functionality.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and best practices.
• Reactor Protector System and Neutron Monitoring System.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in system engineering or technical roles.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Knowledge of system tools and methodologies.
