Job Overview

Project Responsibilities

  • Project review + document support for CRA filings
  • Review projects at the work-detail/activity level to identify and extract supporting reference documentation needed for CRA tax filings.
  • Build and maintain working papers / working files that tie source documents to filing positions and calculations.
  • Validate completeness/accuracy of supporting evidence; escalate gaps and risks.

Stakeholder engagement and clarification

  • Partner with Project Managers / project teams to clarify scope, work activity classification, and missing details.
  • Document follow-ups, decisions, and assumptions; update working files accordingly.
  • Provide guidance on what documentation is needed and why (in plain language).

Workflow and process improvement / automation

  • Design and implement automated workflows to collect required information more efficiently (standard intake templates, routing, tracking, reminders, status dashboards).
  • Act as a “process/system champion” for the workflow approach: testing, iteration, user guidance/training, and troubleshooting.

Innovative gap-filling and analysis

  • Perform contract review and interpretation to fill data gaps (scope wording, deliverables, pricing structures, activity descriptions).
  • Create analytical schedules (e.g., ratios, allocations, activity splits) to support positions where direct tagging is incomplete—ensuring the approach is supportable and repeatable.

Compliance, guidance, and delivery under deadlines

  • Interpret and apply CRA legislation/regulatory requirements relevant to the filing.
  • Follow prescribed internal program guidance and maintain audit-ready documentation.
  • Manage priorities independently and deliver quality outputs under tight deadlines.
