Role: CSU E&I Discipline Lead (TS)
Location: Flights out of Saskatoon, SK to Cigar Lake, SK
Work Schedule: 2wks in/ 2wks out 11 hrs per day
Contract Duration: 04/23/2026 to 12/31/2026
Years Experience: Intermediate (4-9yrs) and/or Senior(10+ years)
Role Description / Key Responsibilities:
- The C&SU E&I Lead has the primary responsibility to ensure all E&I discipline work taken by them or their crew are completed in a safe manner abiding by all safety program requirements.
- This position is a working supervisor role who physically performs trade work while carrying the responsibility for direct supervision of trade crews performing work under them whenever required.
- Modifying, repairing, testing, troubleshooting, and inspecting electrical and instrument installations.
- Verifying installation, wiring, and terminations of MCC’s, control panels, and junction boxes.
- Inspection, modification, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation installations.
- Identifying and documenting deficiencies. Provide input and follow up on deficiencies to make sure they are addressed and closed satisfactorily.
- Completing Cameco defined commissioning documentation (e.g. check sheets, ITPs and test reports)
- • Recording final and accurate as-built/as-left conditions on redline drawings, datasheets, and project documentation.
- Participating in commissioning team meetings including, without limitation, daily toolbox, safety, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
- Support and provide input to development of detailed plans for execution of work.
- Monitoring the schedule and productivity of work and work collaboratively to resolve issues and barriers.
Skills/Previous Experience:
- Journeyperson status as an instrumentation mechanic or electrician with strong preference given to dual ticketed individuals.
- Previous experience in a brown field commissioning environment is required.
- Hands on proven experience in commissioning and start-up activities is required.
- Previous experience in a nuclear facility is preferred.
- Supervisor training/certification is required.
- Safety certificate is highly preferred.
- Proficient computer skills required.
