Job Title: PLM Process Analyst
Location: Laval, QC - Onsite
Employment Type: Full-Time (Contract – 6 months, potential extension)
Rate: $40–$45 CAD/hour
About the Role
We’re seeking a PLM Process Analyst to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of processes supporting configuration and data management (CM/DM) within Siemens PLM tools such as Teamcenter, NX, and Opcenter. Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders, PLM developers, and operations, you will gather requirements, define scalable processes, and validate solutions that strengthen compliance, efficiency, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Process Ownership & Development
- Lead the design, rollout, and improvement of CM/DM processes within PLM systems.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Act as a subject matter expert in CM/DM practices, guiding teams across the full project lifecycle (definition → feasibility → design → validation → rollout).
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, certification, and program management teams to capture requirements and turn them into actionable solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and design sessions to align cross-functional stakeholders.
- Serve as the liaison between end-users and technical teams, ensuring clarity of deliverables.
Validation & Testing
- Develop and maintain test plans and cases to validate new features, upgrades, and rollouts.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing.
- Track and resolve defects, ensuring solutions are production-ready.
Continuous Improvement
- Monitor adoption of processes and tools, gathering feedback to refine and optimize workflows.
- Identify recurring issues and implement preventive solutions to reduce rework and support tickets.
- Recommend system and process enhancements to improve performance and usability.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years’ experience.
- Hands-on expertise with Teamcenter and Siemens PLM tools (NX, Capital, Opcenter).
- Experience with Configuration Baseline Management in an FAA type certification environment.
- Strong knowledge of configuration management principles and lifecycle processes.
- Proven ability to define, document, and implement structured processes in PLM.
- Experience developing test plans, executing UAT and regression testing.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Certification in Configuration Management (CMPIC, CMII, or equivalent).
- Working knowledge of Teamcenter administration.
- Experience with DO-178B/C, DO-254, or hardware development lifecycle/configuration management.
