Duration: 1 Year (Long-term project, can be extended annually) 
We are seeking an experienced Field Team Lead/Engineer to join our team at Bruce Power. The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing field operations and ensuring the successful execution of mechanical engineering projects. This position requires a strong technical background, hands-on experience with fuel channels, and the ability to lead and collaborate effectively in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage field operations, ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
 - Provide technical expertise in mechanical engineering with a specific focus on fuel channel systems.
 - Oversee and coordinate the activities of field teams, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
 - Conduct detailed inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of fuel channel systems.
 - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize processes and resolve technical challenges.
 - Ensure compliance with Bruce Power's security and safety standards at all times.
 - Prepare and present technical reports, documentation, and progress updates to senior management.
 - Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
 
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
 - Hands-on experience with fuel channel systems.
 - Bruce Power Security Clearance is required.
