Job Title: Team Lead – Capital Projects
Location: Saskatoon, SK

About the Role:
As the Team Lead for Capital Projects, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our projects and the growth of our business. This role combines strategic leadership, operational oversight, and mentorship to deliver high-quality results for our clients and foster a thriving, collaborative team culture. Your efforts will directly contribute to the development of the community through impactful projects and the professional growth of your team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Culture:

    • Embody and promote the company’s values and culture.
    • Lead by example, fostering collaboration, empowerment, and a sense of belonging within the team.
  • Business Development:

    • Develop and implement strategies to expand services in the local market.
    • Build and nurture relationships with clients and stakeholders to support business growth and diversification.
  • Operational Excellence:

    • Oversee operational objectives, ensuring projects consistently meet quality, financial, and performance targets.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize resource allocation and deliver on strategic goals.
  • Team Development:

    • Mentor and support team members, empowering them to take ownership of their projects.
    • Facilitate ongoing professional growth through training, development, and career advancement opportunities.
  • Community Engagement:

    • Actively participate in the local business community through networking and industry events.
    • Strengthen the company’s presence in regional markets by fostering connections and identifying recruitment opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in operations leadership, business development, or team management, ideally in professional services or construction.
  • Degree or diploma in business administration, commerce, finance, engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong understanding of professional services business models, resource management, and risk management practices.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed financial and operational targets while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Established network within the industry and active involvement in regional associations.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
