Position Overview
M Force Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to support the design and development of advanced electronic systems from concept through production. This Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the design of high-performance digital, analog, and mixed-signal electronics while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop innovative products across a variety of high-tech industries.
The ideal Senior Electrical Engineer has extensive experience with digital circuit design, FPGA development, power electronics, PCB design, and embedded hardware. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and supporting products throughout the complete development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Design high-performance digital, analog, and mixed-signal electronic circuits
Develop medium-speed impedance-controlled digital designs utilizing CPUs, DDR memory, Flash memory, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, and USB communication protocols
Design mixed analog and digital circuitry incorporating A/D and D/A converters
Develop, test, and validate FPGA designs using VHDL
Create test benches, perform simulations, apply timing constraints, and support FPGA synthesis and routing
Design onboard power supplies including buck and boost converters, low-dropout (LDO) regulators, and power entry filtering
Develop analog circuits including sensor interfaces, amplifiers, A/D drivers, and low-noise signal conditioning
Perform circuit simulation and validation using SPICE
Support schematic capture, PCB layout, component selection, and engineering documentation
Manage Bills of Material (BOMs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Program Management teams throughout product development
Support prototype development, testing, troubleshooting, and production release
Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance throughout project execution
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
Minimum of 10 years of professional Electrical Engineering experience
Strong experience designing digital, analog, and mixed-signal electronic circuits
Experience developing FPGA designs using VHDL
Knowledge of switching power supplies and power electronics
Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout
Experience managing Bills of Material (BOMs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
Proficiency with Altium Designer, SPICE, and MATLAB/Simulink
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively within cross-functional engineering teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing biomedical or scientific instrumentation
Experience supporting military or aerospace electronics
Embedded hardware development experience
Experience supporting products from concept through production
Experience working in highly regulated engineering environments
