Best Practices & Recommendations:

  • Develop and present actionable recommendations to align the client's program with current regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and evolving trends in payment systems and consumer protection.

Regulatory Updates & Guidance:

  • Provide insights on recent regulatory changes, case law, and guidance issued by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and other relevant bodies. Ensure the client’s program is aligned with these updates.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with internal teams, client stakeholders, and subject matter experts to gather relevant data, provide insights, and ensure that proposed recommendations are practical and effective.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Prepare clear and concise reports detailing findings, recommendations, and action plans. Present these findings to senior management and other key stakeholders.

Training & Support:

  • Provide training and ongoing support to the client’s team to ensure proper implementation of recommended changes and enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in financial services, compliance, or consulting, with a strong focus on Reg E or consumer protection laws.
  • Proven track record of working with Reg E programs in a consulting or advisory capacity.
  • Strong understanding of consumer protection regulations, financial products, and payment systems.
• Skills:
  • Expertise in the interpretation and application of Reg E requirements (e.g., error resolution, unauthorized transactions, and consumer dispute resolution).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex regulatory issues in a clear and actionable manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
