Job Description

Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Project Manager (Infrastructure) to join our team.

Requirements

  • Project manage a team of internal and contract resources to ensure the successful delivery of data center, IT, and telecommunications infrastructure for a newly built property
  • Experience managing schedules, budgets, and staff/vendor resourcing
  • Strong status tracking and reporting skills, including tracking detailed tasks performed by team members to ensure quality of installation and deliverables
  • Act as a liaison between the Infrastructure team, construction teams, and design teams
  • Knowledge and understanding of the installation of fiber optic cable networks, data center infrastructure, Wi-Fi, and other infrastructure implementations within a property
  • Understanding of, and adherence to, processes and procedures for working on a construction site
  • Track and manage completion signoffs, ensuring design, labelling, configuration, and other standards are followed and implemented

Skills

  • Proven experience managing telecommunications and IT infrastructure, including (but not limited to) opening new sites such as offices, transportation hubs, and staff accommodations
  • Experience deploying network, server, and other hardware projects, as well as software deployments and enhancements
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and financial control
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized with proven experience in a similar project role
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Project Management role within data center or telecommunications environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or Engineering (preferred)
  • PRINCE2 or PMP certification (highly regarded)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Experience in digital infrastructure or construction environments (essential)
