Law Firm Administrative Assistant /Receptionist

Downtown Toronto

Our client, a highly regarded and growing law firm located in the core of downtown Toronto, is adding to its team! This is a permanent, full time, in office role. 

They are looking for a bright, energetic and proactive Administrative Assistant/Receptionist

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administrative duties;
  • Billing and invoicing clients;
  • Reporting on certain financial matters;
  • Managing and ordering supplies (with approval);
  • Greeting and hosting clients and visitors at the firm;
  • Assistance with event and meeting coordination;
  • Managing mail and deliveries;
  • Organization and tracking of certain firm initiatives;
  • Coordinating support with the firm's external vendors including IT support;
  • Coordinating onboarding for new staff, lawyers and students and other tasks that support and assist the partners of the firm in their obligations on an ad hoc basis

Qualifications / Demonstrated Skills:

3+ years of progressive, senior administrative support experience, preferably in the legal industry or other professional services.

Team player with a “can do” attitude.

Cares deeply about doing a great job, low ego, passionate about the role.

High level of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
