Law Clerk - Real Estate

Our client, a dynamic leader in its field, is hiring! They are looking to add a Commercial Real Estate Law Clerk to its team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handles commercial real estate purchases, sales, and financing transactions from start to finish
  • Identifies title and off-title issues and addresses them accordingly
  • Prepares reporting letters and accounts to clients
  • Prepares and registers various documents in Teraview including Transfers, Charges, Easements, Notices, Discharges, etc.
  • Directly communicates with clients and other lawyer’s offices
  • Organizes and maintains physical and electronic files

The Successful Candidate will Demonstrate the Following:

  • A post-secondary diploma in a related Legal Administration and/or Law Clerk program or equivalent years of experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position in a Commercial Real Estate Law practice. This client will entertain candidates with 5+ years of residential real estate experience. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Unity, Soluno (preferred), and Teraview
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently on multiple files with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates a professional demeanor, high ethical standards, respect, and commitment to service excellence
