Litigation Legal Assistant

Our client, a highly regarded law firm, is adding a litigation legal assistant to its team.
Responsibilities:
- providing general assistance to two lawyers
- assisting in preparation of documents such as pleadings, motions, notices, affidavits, affidavits of documents, court orders, and mediation briefs
- preparing basic correspondence
- court filing and service
- communicating with clients
- managing administrative tasks, including opening and closing of files, time entry, scheduling of appointments and coordinating meetings
- other duties and tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience
- Legal Assistant or Law Clerk Diploma from a recognized school
- Knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure
- Must have dedicated office space and a secure, reliable internet connection
Skills:
- Employment law experience preferred
- Proficiency with technology such as Google Workspace, Clio (Manage, Grow, Draft), MS Office
- Strong verbal and written communication
