Law Clerk - Construction Litigation

Ability to work from home 3 days a week
Our client, a well established and highly regarded law firm, is hiring! They are looking to add a Litigation Law Clerk to its team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of litigation experience and have strong knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure.
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Assembling Affidavit of Documents
- Preparing Undertakings and Refusal Charts
- Preparing Motions for answers to Undertakings and Refusals
- Trial preparation
- Document and eDiscovery management
- Document brief and trial brief preparation
- Liaise with court staff regarding motion scheduling
- Experience utilizing JSO portal, proficient with Caselines and ACL
Required experience/qualifications:
- Completion of the Law Clerk course and some exposure to construction litigation
- 5-8 years of litigation experience
- Strong knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure
- A solid knowledge of legal office practice, legal terminology and procedure relating to legal correspondence and legal documents
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail. Strong commitment to providing professional client service.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Experience with Construction Litigation, GhostPractice and iManage would be an asset.
