Litigation Legal Assistant

Downtown Toronto

Our client, a leading commercial litigation firm, located in the heart of the financial district of Toronto, is looking to add a Litigation Legal Assistant to its team.

In this role you will provide legal and administrative support to two associates.

You will prepare correspondence, litigation and other necessary documents including Affidavit of Documents; proofread and edit legal documents; assist with docketing and billing; schedule Mediations and Examinations for Discovery; prepare for Examinations for Discoveries and Mediations including arranging dates, serving Notices; perform research and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Two to four years of experience is preferred in civil or commercial litigation in Ontario.

Strong technical skills in MS Office, Outlook, Adobe.

Dependable and reliable.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize
