Hybrid Work Model - 3 Days Remote / 2 Days In-Office
Our client, a highly regarded law firm, located in the downtown core is growing! They are looking to add a Litigation Law Clerk to its well known and tight knit team. This is a full time permanent position. This client will consider any level of litigation experience.
In this role you will work in the area of civil and commercial litigation.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
The ability to prepare pleadings, affidavits, assist with the discovery and trial preparations, docket your time, schedule mediations and discoveries, prepare accounts and perform other tasks as needed.
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
Strong knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure
Proficiency in Outlook, MS Office, and and have knowledge of a litigation document and management software
**Must possess a Law Clerk Diploma or Certificate**
Strong Customer service mentality
Possess a strong attention to detail, initiative and have the ability to multi task and prioritize
Must be proactive, resourceful and learn quickly
Ability to work as independently as well as part of a team
