Law Clerk - Insurance Defence

Our client, a litigation law firm known for its high level work is growing!
They are adding two Law Clerks to its dynamic and diverse team. If you have 3+ years of litigation experience with an emphasis on insurance defence we want to hear from you!
Job Details

· Intake, organization and briefing of files;
· Preparing medical indices and summaries;
· Coordinating with investigators and other experts;
· Drafting pleadings, discovery plans and affidavits of documents;
· Pursuing and managing productions and undertakings;
· Assisting with motion materials;
· Preparing costs outlines;
· Drafting settlement documents;
· Assisting with arbitration and trial preparation and conduct;
· Direct communication with various counsel and clients; and
· Daily file management
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
· 3+ years of experience as a Law Clerk handling Accident Benefits and tort insurance defense files;
· Law Clerk Certification or undergraduate degree;
· Proficient with the Rules of Civil Procedure and LAT Rules of Practice;
· Ability to manage large volume of documents and work in a fast paced paperless environment;
· Strong tech skills (Primafact, Excel, Word, Outlook etc.);
· Confident ability to manage multiple priorities while being time conscious and deadline oriented; and
· Enjoy being proactive and working in a team
