The Lincoln Group has partnered with a leader in the client services industry in search of an Audit Manager, on a direct-hire basis, to join their exceptional team! The Audit Manager will work under the supervision of a Partner. A Manager will support the firm’s clients in the duties listed below and oversee Seniors and Staff. Some duties listed below are subject to the department the Manager primarily works in.  This is an excellent opportunity for advancement!

Type of Hire: Direct Hire
Software: Regularly use QuickBooks Online and Desktop with proficiency
Location: Amarillo TX
Compensation: Starting at $85K+, plus discretionary bonus

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

• Assist with client projects as assigned
• Collaborate with a team on tax projects
• Serve as primary/lead on designated client relationships
• Support office project workflow in coordination with staff
• Train and develop staff members
• Aid in the development and implementation of attestation engagements (subject to Management's area)
• Plan, supervise, and complete engagements, assuming responsibility
• Schedule and assign staff to engagements effectively
• Actively participate in the Firm’s business development initiatives
• Represent the Firm professionally at business and community events
• Develop industry niches in Small Business Services to support personnel growth and career objectives
• Participate in the firm's initiatives such as Business Development, Coaching Programs, and other firm activities
• Audit accounts for compliance with state and federal regulations; liaise with external auditors for the annual audit
• Present management with recommendations on financial objectives and policies (short- and long-term)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• MBA and/or CPA highly desirable 
• Experience with a public accounting firm is a plus.
• 3-5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Passionate about serving clients and identifying their needs
• Demonstrates a strong service mentality with active listening skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Flexible, versatile, and open to new ideas beyond traditional accounting approaches
• Ability to see the big picture and think strategically
• Willingness to learn, be coachable and adapt
• Government experience is a plus
