The Lincoln Group has partnered with a client in search of a skilled
Docket Clerk to join their team! We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of litigation processes and legal deadlines to manage docketing functions effectively.
Type of Hire: Full-Time
Title: Docket Clerk
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Work Schedule: Fully onsite for the first two months, then hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote per week)
Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Accurately calculate litigation deadlines following state and federal rules of civil procedures.
- Process high volumes of legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with legal teams to ensure timely docketing and compliance with court rules.
- Maintain thorough records of legal deadlines and manage scheduling to meet filing requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
- 1-5 years of litigation docketing experience in a law firm or legal docketing department.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal civil procedure rules.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to process a large volume of legal documents efficiently while maintaining high quality.
- Must be adaptable to work fully onsite initially, with a hybrid schedule afterward.
