Lincoln Healthcare has partnered with a healthcare facility, in search of a Registered Nurse PRN to join their team SW of Amarillo, TX! 

Job Details:

• Title: Registered Nurse
• Type of Hire: Per diem, possible direct placement
• Locations: SW of Amarillo
• Preferred Experience:ER/ICU/Med-Surg experience. Someone comfortable floating between units
• Shift:12-hour shifts (7am-7pm/7pm-7am)
• Pay Rate: $40.00 - $45.00/hr
• Responsibilities:
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Assessing and monitoring patient conditions.
  • Assisting with medical procedures and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Monitoring vital signs and recording patient information.
  • Responding to emergencies, stabilizing patients, and preparing them for transfer if necessary.
  • Operating medical equipment such as ventilators, monitors, and IV pumps.
  • Overseeing the work of Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs), nursing assistants, and support staff.
  • Ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documenting care provided.
  • Reporting any changes in a patient’s condition to the physician and other healthcare professionals.
  • Acting as an advocate for the patient, ensuring their rights and needs are addressed in their care plan.
