The Business Analyst will work closely with Local District Social Services staff, stakeholders and the ITS project team to refine and develop requirements for migration of member servers to NYS Data Center.
Day-to-Day Tasks:The candidate of this position will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Work with LDSSs to complete Data Collection Tool;
Communicate data requirements to ITS staff;
Validate the proposed solution meet business needs;
Confirm the proposed solution is acceptable to OTDA ISO and Legal Affairs;
Verify the proposed solution is in alignment with ITS Data Center services;
Complete CISO SSDLC forms and coordinates ISO review activities;
Expedite migration and remediation of EOL servers in CRRP scope;
Plan the BA approach/activities:
Mentor state staff and new BAs;
Establish, monitor and ensure that project goals/objectives are met; managing daily work/priorities.
Mandatory Qualification:Business Analyst -
Analyzes an organization or business domain (real or hypothetical) and documents its business or processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology with distinct deliverables to a solution.
Senior -
60 - 84 Months: Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education.
Requested Qualifications:- 60 months of experience assessing and documenting business requirements for integration with enterprise data center services.
- 60 months of experience creating system documentation including data flow diagrams.
- 60 months of experience analyzing project tasks to streamline workflows.
- 60 months of experience working in a web-based ticket system to create work requests.
- 60 months of experience working independently and providing direction and training to other members of the team.
