Project/Program:

This position requires the incumbent to work with OMH and ITS to analyze OMH network infrastructure needs, assesses impacts, provide guidance, collect documentation, submit requests and monitor this work through its lifecycle.

Day-to-day Tasks:

Daily tasks include but are not limited to the following:

• Work closely with the OMH Dedicated Support team, ITS networking team, network architecture team, security team, and other stakeholders to provide guidance for OMH's network infrastructure projects.
• Work as a liaison to stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts to elicit, analyze, communicate, validate and verify requirements for OMH's networking needs.
• Assess impacts, provide guidance, document requirements and partner with vendors to support solutions such as Building Management systems, Temperature monitoring systems, medication dispensing systems and other solutions that require network connectivity.
• Create and maintain system documentation artifacts for communication requirements including Context Diagrams, High Level and Detailed Architecture Diagrams, High Level Process Flow, Use Cases, Current and To Be Process Models, Business Requirements Document, and Non-Functional Requirements.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Systems Analyst –

Specializes in analyzing, designing and implementing information systems. Assesses the suitability of information systems in terms of their intended outcomes and liaises with end users, software vendors and programmers in order to achieve these outcomes. Uses analysis and design techniques to solve business problems using information technology. Serves as change agent, who identifies the organizational improvements needed, designs systems to implement those changes and trains and motivates others to use the systems.

Expert:

84+ months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

Requested Qualifications:

• 84 Months Experience eliciting requirements needed to design systems which require network connectivity and partnership with vendors to support solutions such as building management systems, medication distribution systems, temperature monitoring systems, and other solutions that require network connectivity.
• 84 Months Experience working as a liaison between Requesting Entity (i.e. Government Agency or Private Company) and Vendors to elicit requirements for network infrastructure projects.
• 48 Months Experience eliciting requirements for facility moves, facility construction, and their impact on IT network infrastructure and applications.
• 48 Months Experience eliciting requirements for VOIP projects and implementation of those requirements.
• 48 Months Experience eliciting requirements for Wireless projects and implementation of these requirements.
• 48 Months Experience in creating and maintaining system documentation artifacts for communication of requirements, including Context Diagrams, High Level Entity Relationship Diagrams, High Level and Detailed Architecture Diagrams.
• 48 Months Experience facilitating requirement sessions, to ensure requirements are understood, conveyed and met.
• 48 Months Experience working with ITSM Service Now.
