Project/Program: OCFS Connections
Job Description:
This position will be a member of the CONNECTIONS Product Test teams and will be assigned with testing new enhancements to the application against user requirements, logical designs, and system design standards.
Day to Day:
Conduct analysis on requirements to produce system testing documentation
Perform technical activities related to writing test plans, test scripts and use cases that will exercise WCF and WPF components
Assist in the use of semi-automated testing tools to ensure the logic supporting the development efforts meet specified performance outcomes/metrics
Support/participate in product test activities
Supporting the application through testing and implementation
Facilitate the knowledge transfer between the Technical IT staff and the Program staff responsible for testing, training, and implementation
Mandatory Qualifications:
Tester: Conducts automated and manual tests to ensure that the software created/upgraded performs as necessary and meets the user requirements. Develops and maintains user and technical documentation and project process documentation for application teams. Understands the view of applications and/or technology and is able to put procedures in a logical sequence.
Expert: 84+ months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
Requested Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology related field.
- 24 months experience with testing on a case management system preferably on a human services platform.
- 84 months experience developing and maintaining user and technical documentation and project process documentation for application teams.
- 84 months experience in coordinating written and verbal communication between technical staff and management via written status reports and recurring status meetings.
- 84 months of experience in developing technical and functional testing documentation including but not limited to test plans test cases and traceability matrices.
- 84 months of experience writing and optimizing complex Oracle SQL queries using tools such as SQL Developer, TOAD, or similar database management tools.
- 84 months of experience in executing and maintaining manual test cases.
- 24 months of experience using Azure DevOps for project management, version control, and/or test case management.
- 24 months of experience in executing and maintaining automation scripts as part of software testing processes.
