Project / Program
This position serves as an OBIEE 12c development and support staff for the Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS). This position also supports R&D efforts development of new OBIEE 12c executive dashboards, analytics and Java Services

Day to Day Tasks
This position is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of an OBIEE 12C structure and websites to support OASAS reporting and interagency information structures. Specifically, this position will include but will not be limited to:

• Provide technical support to BI OBIEE application delivery teams, participate and support development, test, QA activities and provide OBIEE 12C technical problem analysis and solution development.
• Provide technical support for OBIEE 12c environment including production control activities, point release upgrades, and/or application software maintenance.
• Perform development activities for websites using HTML, HTML5, CSS and Javascript.
• Provide technical Support to Treatment Availability Dashboard and Find Addiction Treatment website using Java web Services and AngularJS
• Provide transfer of knowledge and technical training to State IT staff in support and development of OBIEE 12c/OAS.
• Work closely with engineers to design, implement, and delegate components; provide work estimates for proposed projects; and actively participate in resolving key issues that impact the performance of the product.
• Contribute ideas to improve product functionality, maintainability and/or performance.
• Participate in design and development tasks for solutions
• Assist with building test cases to test all aspects of the product. Work with the testing team to ensure test plans are executed and behave as expected.
• Assist development team with QA/QC activities.
• Work with teams of application programmers, DBAs, and system architects to create solutions to meet business goals.
• Develop and participate in the adherence of standards, processes, and procedures.
• Assist with optimization and tuning activities as necessary.
• Plan, coordinate OBIEE software installations and upgrades.
• Provides hands-on training and mentoring for other staff.

Mandatory Qualifications
Software Architect - Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.

Senior - 60 - 84 months: Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education.

Requested Qualifications
- 72 Months experience supporting development efforts in OBIEE 11g/12c application including migrations of web catalog, repository development, catalog development and BI Publisher objects.
- 60 Months experience in OBIEE Web logic Server configuration, 11g to 12c upgrade and SAML 2 setup for single sign on.
- 60 Months experience in developing Dashboards using HTML, HTML5, CSS and Javascript.
- 36 Months experience in developing Java web services in a Weblogic Server using Maven and AngularJS.
- 72 Months experience with Oracle 11G/12C database using SQL for performance tuning and data integrity issues.
- 60 Months experience with security setup and configuration including Weblogic roles/groups
- 48 Months experience with OBIEE administration including install of OBIEE BI Analytics enterprise in Linux.
- 24 Months experience supporting development efforts in Oracle Analytics Server (OAS).
