Stock Clerk-EP 1-2025
The Office of State Assessment (OSA) is requesting approval for ten temporary staff from April 30, 2025 - August 12, 2025 to work in the Test Distribution Unit (TDU), Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to assist in preparing, packing and shipping of the Grade 5 and Grade 8 Sciences examinations (English, Translated Editions and Large Type); the 2025 Field Tests/Pilot Tests; the new Earth and Space Sciences, Life Science: Biology and Geometry Regents examinations which are being administered on June 10-11, 2025; preparing and prepping for the June 2025 Regents Examination administration with all non-secure materials,as well as receiving and unpacking of lockboxes being returned from schools from the June 2025 administration and beginning to prepare for the August 2025 administration.
*In addition to the above:
Retrieving appropriate exam/materials packets as needed during testing cycle.
Packing lock boxes with appropriate Regents Examinations and non-secure materials based on the shipping notice(s) for each
school.
Preparing and packing the 2025 Field Tests/Pilot Tests.
Scan FedEx labels into the Fed Ex machine so that we can track packages and weight of package.
Updating computer system with new data from school districts so that materials are sent to the appropriate school and address
on record.
Organize said materials and examinations stored in TDU and label them.
File all shipping notices.
*Additional requirements:
Complex job that does require a unique set of skills, such as clerical, computer and labor.
Computer skills needed: Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must be able to lift, carry and move heavy lock boxes/cardboard boxes up to 70lbs
Must be able to meet tight timelines.
