Project: FACTS, PADS and OMIG System Enhancements
The Fraud Activity Comprehensive Tracking System (FACTS) is an electronic drawer, composed of numerous and varying databases and interfaces that permit efficient access to current and historical information on all audit and investigative activities involving Medicaid providers and/or recipients. The application is web based and is accessible in real-time by over 1,200 users across the State in five state agencies (OMIG, DOH, AG (MFCU), OSC & CQC). The FACTS system is comprised of over 30 related modules.
There are several maintenance and system enhancements that will be addressed including, but not limited to: FACTS enhancements, PADS, Managed Care enhancements, audit sampling and legal.
Day-to-Day Tasks:
- Database software installation and configuration
- Authentication and Security Monitoring
- Database monitoring
- Database tuning
- Production Metrics
- Problem Resolution
- Release Management
- Business Continuity Testing
- Minor reporting and bug fixes
- Design cross platform databases. Data Warehousing with
- OBIEE experience
- Data migration tools knowledge
Mandatory Qualifications:- Database Architect: Determines database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming; reviews objectives with clients; evaluates current systems; provides database support by coding utilities, responding to user questions, and resolving problems.
- Expert: 84+ Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
Requested Qualifications:- 84 Months of experience in System Development Life Cycle and requirements gathering, application design, coding and testing.
- 84 Months of experience in database design, data modeling, data hosting, data warehouse management, data integration and data analysis.
- 84 Months of experience in a .net, Oracle and SQL Server environments, SQL tuning, monitoring database; ensuring data integrity, security.
- 84 Months of experience writing complex SQL against Oracle and SQL Server databases against Medicaid Data Warehouse claims.
- 60 Months of experience Content Management Systems with an emphasis on Docushare.
- 48 Months of experience developing and supporting Medicaid Providers/Recipients Audits and Investigations-related case management software and modules for a federal or state agency, in a Microsoft .Net/C# platform and Oracle back-end environment.
- Microsoft Certified System Developer (MSCSD), Oracle and SQL Server certified DBA.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science
