Job descriptions for both positions are provided below:
1. Nursing Office: The Administrative Assistant position within the Nursing Department will support nursing leadership to manage inpatient and community nursing staff. Clerical staff must be able to manage a steady volume of administrative supportive tasks including phone calls, scheduling appointments, daily calendar support, maintaining files, confidential document copying and filing, and data entry. The assistant will monitor staff probation reports and evaluations; assist with new employee on-boarding process, key requests, computer access requests, purchase order requests, etc. Other duties including mail, filing, phone triage, and back up support to other administrative clerical staff.
2. Staffing Office: The clerical temp position is vital in maintaining all time and attendance data entry for the nursing staff in the regional forensic and adult units. This job requires a competent dedicated clerical person to function as a timekeeper. This clerical person must manage staff time, attendance, accrual usage, and overtime to ensure accurate payment to staff. Data entry for direct care staff is a function best performed by a clerical item. Additional tasks include copying, scanning, filing, creating spreadsheets and reports, etc.
