Job Description

Business Analyst- Senior

The position will support the modernization effort at Tax and Finance in
a role as a Business Systems Analyst to aid in conversion, data
analysis, reporting and development testing.

Duties:
• Review of Department modernized systems and processes for the
purposes of development of process flows, requirements and
specifications.
• Develop project and system documentation.
• Develop criteria for evaluation of strategies.
• Analyze data as it pertains to conversion and reporting.
• Prepare written and oral communication on project milestones and
deliverables.
• Assist with test planning and testing for development integration
testing.

Qualifications:

• 60 months of business process analysis and business process re-engineering
• 60 months experience in gathering, analyzing and documenting business
  requirements
• 60 months experience in preparing functional and detail system design
  documents
• 48 months experience with the testing and implementation phase of the
  Development Life Cycle
• 60 months experience with querying DB2 databases.
• 48 months experience with Government Taxation organization, which
  includes technical design, development, maintenance and end user support
  of Complex Tax Accounting Systems
• 24 months experience with Real Property Tax (e.g. valuation, assessments
  and exemptions).
