Job Description
Our client, a well-established alternative lending and investment group is seeking a Dealing Representative for their Calgary and Vancouver locations. As a Dealing Representative, you will drive capital raising efforts by connecting high-net-worth, accredited, and institutional investors with a secure, real estate-backed mortgage fund.
Core Responsibilities
- Pipeline Development: Proactively source new investor leads and leverage your existing network to build strong client relationships.
- Investment Advisory: Pitch the fund's products, simplify complex financial concepts, and confidently address investor questions.
- Compliance & Due Diligence: Manage client documentation meticulously to meet all regulatory and compliance standards.
- Market Strategy: Stay ahead of real estate market trends and competitor products while consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Required Qualifications
- Credentials: Currently registered or willing to work towards being a certified Dealing Representative in Alberta or British Columbia (EMP; Exempt Market Proficiency Certificate requirement).
- Experience: 3+ years of proven success in investment sales, financial services, or real estate.
- Skill Set: Goal-oriented and self-motivated with exceptional presentation skills and a solid grasp of private placement/mortgage fund regulations.
