Job Description

Our client, an established and regarded financial services firm is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their growing team. This a new position created to support the growing needs of the finance and accounting team.  The ideal candidate will have a track record of demonstrating sound and critical thinking and have a logical approach to their work. Strong use of MS Excel will be required for this position.

Reporting to the senior leadership team duties will include but not be limited to; 

• Full cycle accounting, including quarterly reporting
• Preparation of financial statements
• Monitor both AR and AP balances while also ensuring payments are documented and accurate
• Prepare JE's for investor transactions
• Bank reconciliation and supporting schedules, financial statements and tax returns
