Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Shift: This position typically operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, schedule flexibility is important as hours may vary based on operational needs.
Location: West Palm Beach, FL
The Maintenance Mechanic repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment, including pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines, to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing preventative and corrective maintenance in accordance with company standards and operational needs.
Observe mechanical equipment in operation to identify the cause of malfunctions.
Diagnose equipment failures and recommend appropriate repair actions.
Dismantle equipment to remove and replace defective parts.
Adjust functional parts of equipment and calibrate control instruments as needed.
Ensure all equipment complies with OEM and regulatory agency operating standards.
Perform proper lubrication of equipment in compliance with OEM schedules.
Follow established Preventive Maintenance Work Order procedures.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs.
Technical school training in industrial maintenance or related field preferred.
Minimum 1 year of mechanical repair experience in a heavy industrial setting, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to diagnose and repair machinery, read technical manuals, and use standard repair tools and equipment.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and OEM standards.

Working in dust, debris, and sometimes strong odors.
