Job Description

As a Project Manager II on our Logistics team, you will lead small to moderately complex design projects and contribute to high-volume programs for a fast-moving global e-commerce client. You’ll ensure successful execution by guiding project teams, maintaining strong client partnerships, and managing scope, budget, and schedule with discipline and care. You’ll play a critical role in integrating teams, elevating quality, and driving results—while mentoring others and contributing to a culture of excellence.

Deliver Results

  • Lead up to five small projects or one to two moderate-volume programs with minimal oversight, managing scope, schedule, and budget to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Support senior project managers on complex or high-volume workstreams by fostering collaboration, resolving challenges, and driving execution.
  • Serve as the primary client liaison for assigned projects, maintaining open communication and strengthening long-term partnerships.
  • Set up project logistics including number, budget, and schedule; facilitate project kickoff meetings to align teams on goals and roles.
  • Assist in proposal and agreement development, including consultant interviews and contract preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes through structured QA/QC milestones and project documentation tools.
  • Monitor project finances and proactively address risks, scope changes, or other challenges to maintain profitability and delivery standards.
  • Mentor junior staff and support project leaders in quality management, client communication, and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Interiors, Landscape Architecture, or related discipline; Master’s degree a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience managing projects in a professional A/E environment.
  • Professional licensure or registration in your discipline a plus. 
  • PMP, PMI, or PSMJ certification a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Experience with Deltek Vision and project planning tools preferred.
  • Strong collaboration, client relationship management, and project coordination skills.
