Job Description

Job Summary:

The Director of Operations is responsible for operational capability, customer satisfaction and results for
a territory. Operational capability encompasses location presentation, wash quality, hiring, training,
equipment maintenance, labor management, safety, and sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all team members are delivering a superior car wash experience at all times by working with District Manager and Site Managers to coach and develop team members
  • Monitor financial statements and implement processes improvements to increase revenue and profitability
  • Assist in coaching and training all District Manager, Site Managers, and team members on communicating the Unlimited Program to customers
  • Manage all operational checklists in Jolt and consistently make updates when needed Manage the training platform and make continual updates as needed
  • Assist Site Managers in troubleshooting urgent issues
  • Assist in cultivating a safety-minded culture amongst team members
  • Works directly with location management to ensure quality operations function, safety, and
  • compliance
  • Manages sales and performance goals for locations in assigned territories
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
  • Visit each store regularly to perform facility audits
  • Ensure all locations are in compliance with all company policies, federal, state, and local laws
  • Assist the territory with customer service issues as needed
  • Partners with HR to best support recruitment, employee relations, payroll, and safety practices
  • Partners with leadership to develop, recommend, and communicate strategic change throughout the territory


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Must be able to speak, read and write English
  • Valid driver's license

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED certificate (bachelor's degree preferred)
  • 2-3 years successful experience managing diverse geographically dispersed teams
  • Mechanical aptitude and car wash industry knowledge preferred (not required)

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to drive and travel for multiple hours at a time
  • Ability to sit, stand, and move for extended periods of time
