Job Title: Staff Accountant - Make an Impact Beyond the Numbers!
Location: In the Office, Duluth, Georgia
Salary: $65,000-70,000 per year + excellent benefits

Are you a Staff Accountant seeking a role that goes beyond traditional accounting? Our client is a leading firm providing investment consulting and administrative solutions to Christian nonprofit organizations. They are looking for a motivated Staff Accountant to serve as a Gift Annuity State Registration Associate, to join their team, where you'll contribute to their mission-driven work and expand your accounting experience, particularly within their Gift Annuity program. This position is onsite in Duluth, GA. 

What You'll Do:

• Manage Gift Annuity Program Compliance: Manage state registration, renewals, and filings, track reserves, prepare various reports (liability, state-specific reserve, program status), and ensure compliance with state guidelines, 
• Gift Annuity Administration: Handle check distribution, ACH file uploads, GiftWrap database maintenance, and provide customer service and calculation support for Gift Annuity Program clients.
• Participate in planning calls/meetings with clients and donors
• File tax returns for gifts and trusts.
• Issue 1099s to individual annuitants.
• Prepare and file state regulation reports.
• Apply your overall accounting knowledge to tasks such as managing receivables and payables, reconciling accounts, and understanding end-to-end accounting implications.

What Our Client is Looking For:

• Two to three years of experience.
• Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting or Master of Taxation degree preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, QuickBooks Online (QB)
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with a desire to achieve goals.
• Comfortable working in a Christian organizational environment.

Salary + Benefits:

• Base salary commensurate with experience plus annual Bonus
