A successful experiential agency is looking for a fulltime Outsourcing Design Manager. The company is based in Nashville, TN and has been creating many memorable experiences for retail, entertainment and hospitality destinations, theme parks, hotels, casinos and sports team brands.
The Design Outsourcing Manager is responsible for building and managing a pool of reliable freelance/contract talents who will support the creative team and work very closely to the Creative Director and Director of Client Success. This role requires a very organized and multitask professional, who is proactive, easy to work with and very articulate.
As Design Outsourcing Manager you will:
Be the the spokesperson for integrating external and internal team
Manage and provide effective communication with the external resources when needed
Be able to evaluate creative assets (conceptual and production) from external sources, considering also software skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Manage resource forecast, balance and creative outsourcing needs and provide the resources
Build creative talent pool
Assist in recruitment, contract agreements, deadlines and rate negotiations
Work with SCD and VP ensuring key metrics are on track
Ensure resources are enough according to given work, collaborate with Project Managers and using the resource management system
assist with the completion of RFPs, including task management of workflow and completion of data and layout.
Our ideal Design Outsourcing Manager has:
3+ years of experience working with outsourced design talent (agency our creative firm)
BA/BS
Significant pool of creative talent and ability coordinate and search for design talent
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of professionals
Strong organizational skills, managing multiple and ongoing assignments
Positive, practical approach sustaining collaborative working relationships
Flexibility being able to adapt to achieve greater results with team.
Research, seek instruction, feedback and coaching for better performance
Active participation in knowledge-sharing developing best practices, within internal and external team
Proficiency in Google suite, Adobe, social media platforms
Understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (spec. InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator) k.
Be able to work in a fast-paced and creative environment
